Title: Head Coach

Keith Ritsche, a 34 year old native of Superior, WI. returns for his 6th season as head coach. He coached at Winston-Salem State University from 2011 until relocating to Georgia after the 2017 season. He was the pitching coach under his older brother Kevin. The program was dropped in 2019 by the school but not before the Rams won 6 regular season CIAA titles and 6 CIAA tournament titles. His brother Kevin was hired this summer as the head coach of their Alma Mater The College of St. Scholastica. While not currently coaching at a school, Keith certainly retains years of knowledge and experience in th game of baseball. Keith is now the new Co-General Manager of the Copperheads taking over for Max Kaufmann who relocated to Raleigh, NC. last September. 

Ritsche was the Copperheads head coach for three summers from 2014-2016. and then returned in 2018 and 2019. He led the Copperheads to the Coastal Plain League's Petit Cup Playoffs in 2 of his first 3 seasons at the helm, narrowly missing them in the first year when he was hired only 3 weeks before the season. The team won the second half CPL West division title in 2015 and also had the best overall recored in the west. In 2016, the snakes won the west division in the first half on their way to another playoff appearance. 

Ritsche currently resides in Greensboro, NC.
