Cam is no stranger to the Copperheads baseball family or McCrary Park for that matter. He has spent his entire career, besides playing baseball at Pfieffer, in Asheboro at historic McCrary Park. Cam spent his early youth days playing in Asheboro before moving on through the American Legion ranks with the Post 45 Junior and Senior Legion programs. After the shortened 2020 season caused the NCAA to shut it down, Cam will return to Pfieffer next season with an extra year of eligibility. He will return for his third year with the Copperheads this summer 

The submarine sensation has more often then not been one of Coach Keith Ritsche's main stoppers out of the bullpen the last two seasons. In 2018, Cam led the Copperheads in appearances with 22. He hurled 30.1 innings, giving up just 28 hits, striking out 25 while yeilding 11 walks. The DIII standout led the team in ERA at 1.78. In those appearances, he collected a record of 4-2 while recording 1 save.

Reid once again led the Cheads in appearances in 2019 with 20. He posted 34.1 innings pitched while collecting 22 strikeouts. He had an overall record of 1-1 and earned 2 saves.

In 4 seasons at Pfeiffer, Reid has been a bulldog accounting for 80 career appearances with a 9-4 record out of the bullpen, including 6 saves. He has collected 80 strikeouts to just 38 walks in 112.1 innings pitched. 

He was having one of his best seasons on the mound for the Falcons this year, appearing in 8 games with a 2.70 ERA while collecting 8 strikeouts to no walks. 

He has continued  close ties to the area as Reid has been guided by American Legion Hall of Fame Head Coach Ronnie Pugh, Copperheads General Manager and Post 45 Junior Legion coach  Dennis Garcia and current Copperheads Co-General Manager and Head Coach Keith Ritsche.
